As the Geradlton Districs Fishing Club and the Geradlton Yatch Club share facilities both forms must be filled out.

We are a family friendly fishing club that encourages all types of fishing from land based, boat and spear fishing. (there is no limit to how many classes you wish to enter)
The club has planned fishing events every month where all members are encouraged to participate and the points gained from the weigh-ins contribute to the anglers yearly tally for club champion in multiple categories.
We allow our members to weigh their own fish outside of the planned events, for the capture or release of unwanted species. This provides an option for members either staying out on the boat for a couple of days or camping up the beach to still accumulate club points these can be submitted via photo. (set of guidelines for these captures will be provided)
Membership to the GDFC entitles you to be eligible to participate in our monthly fishing events free of charge including our non-fishing events and competitions.
Membership to the GDFC does include membership to the Geraldton Yacht Club, our members are all social members of the GYC. A separate membership application will need to be completed with the GYC.
All of our functions, fishing competition briefings and club meetings are held at the GYC and if you would like to attend any event at the GYC a social membership with the GYC is required.
Our membership year operates from 1st July - 30th June each year, if you join part way through the year we will request a pro rata payment for the remainder of that year.
The GDFC is a club who’s membership is increasing each year and welcomes all fishing people wanting to enjoy and expand their fishing experiences in the Mid-West region of WA.
We have monthly fishing Prizes for club runs and our major prize divisions for the end of year.
